Exotic Superfruit Juices Unmasked.

Hi,

Fun story from "Men's Health" about the hype behind exotic superfruit juices. So much for the heady ORAC claims and Omega 3's in Acai. Good insight into hype marketing. Your local supermarket's produce bins are not looking so bad ORAC wise.

Spartak--you're welcome!

Here's an article in Science Daily about common "lunchbox fruits": apples, oranges, and bannanas.
These are said to fight neurodegenerative disease and a host of other challenges. These TASTE good too
not like some Acai "flavored" juices I've sampled. Think of what you can buy for a buck not $40. You get fiber, potassium,
minerals, and much more missing in these socalled Superfruit juices. A red delicious apple has more ORAC hit than
Acai flavored nonsense usually watered down with "proprietary blends" of white grape and pear juice to make it sweeter and less
costly to manufacture. Sidearm your expensive looking wine bottle into the dumpster and grab some lunchbox fruits.

If folks like juices 100% Concord grape juice or 100% pomegranate juice body-slammed a certain famous Acai blend juice in a head-to head
ORAC test. Concord grape juice is relatively cheap and very easy to find. It tastes good too.
